VOTE!

In an effort to pay for treats for Sterling...please vote for her here! She looked pretty good as a Race Horse for Halloween last year and she's going to look pretty fantastic as Rudolf this year (more to come)!

Poor...Poor Sterling!

Our Lil' Pumpkins

The Luehrs Clan (and MiMi and PaPa) headed to AW Shucks for some fall fun.  This place has everything...tractors, a train car, corn field, farm animals, swings, a cool slide and even a little pumpkin patch! Plenty of stuff to keep kids of all ages entertained.

Go Panthers!

We headed Uptown to Tailgate before the Panthers Game.  Daddy went to the game, but we all wanted to go and partake in some of the pre-game festivities.  The biggest concern was how Taiten was going to handle NOT going to the game - crisis adverted with the help of the ipad on the car ride home.

Packed up and ready to go!

Having a little snack in the stoller.

Taiten was in his full uniform. Go J-Stew!

He kept saying he was Steve Smith once
he put my Sunglasses on

We set up our own little tailgate area

Falls

We took a field trip to Fish Creek Falls.  WELL worth the short little walk.  So pretty!  Taiten enjoyed throwing rocks in to the creek, Greyson liked trying to climb the big rocks and Baby Charlie was a real handful - sleeping the whole time.

Taiten in amazement of the waterfalls

he's like a ray of sunshine...

Donkey looking oh so handsome

Let Them Eat Cake!

While we were in Steamboat Springs, our newest little Chef Charlie made us a yummy cake! She may be little, but she sure can bake!

Greyson totally approves!

Taiten ate all the frosting and left daddy the cake

Shoe Shopping

Me and the kids headed to Southpark to do a little shoe shopping.  We picked them up a pair of TOMS.  Tiny Toms if you will. They were both very well behaved (I was nervous about this) and all went great.

they worked up a good appetite doing a little shopping

shoe shopping is hard work - tired them right out

Taiten loves his Toms.
They have Orange AND a 'T'.
Doesn't get much better in his book

A little off the sides

Lil Man Taiten needed to get those hairs do's cut. He chose to sit in the Blue Jeep.  They've got quite the set up there...TV playing some fun kid movie so Taiten was ALL set!

Don't worry Greyson, you'll probably have enough hair when you're 5 to have your first haircut.

he's in a zone...

Greyson chose the firetruck to sit in.
No hair cut for her, but she still wanted to have some fun

all trimmed up...and his reward for being
such a good man - lollipop

Pearly Whites

Taiten had his first Dentist Appointment today.  We arrived and after checking in, the dental hygienist came to get him, and took him back...by himself!  I did my best to play it cool and be strong.  He did great, but 10 minutes later they came out to get me.  Taiten was a bit squirmy and made that poor hygienist work VERY hard this morning.  His new Dentist said his teeth looked great!  Taiten liked his Dentist (however, not really in to taking a picture with him) because he gave him a new Lightning McQueen toothbrush! WE'll do it again in 6 months...

Baby Girl Fish

Greyson finished up her swimming lessons for the summer.  She got to celebrate by going down the BIG slide!  She wanted to do it (slide...slide...slide is all she talked about each week) however I'm not sure she was a HUGE fan once she actually got to do it. Glad that both me and Greg were able to be there so I could get some pics though!

Office Project

While G was out of town...I worked on a bit of a project.  I found these fantastic cabinets at the Charlotte Habitat Re-Store and HAD to have them. I had a ton of fun working on this project and it was a nice surprise for Greg when he got home.

I got these babies home Friday and started working on them as soon as the Luehrs Land Babies were asleep.  Half the battle was cleaning out the disaster of a room that our office was previously.  That room was our "dump" room...it still can be, but all behind closed doors!

After a few trips back and forth from Home Depot and Lowes, I was in business (once nap time and bed time came for T+ lil G).  I removed all the doors: sanded, primed and painted white (previously ivory).  Most of the draws had dividers with CD case holders installed...good time for some DEMO!  Once the cabinet units where all cleaned and sanitized (hey! I don't know where these came from) I brought the units inside the house and then using the kids Red Radio Flyer wagon moved these beasts in to place. My new friends at Lowes cut me some moulding to fit at the base of the cabinets and plywood for my counter top.  Stained and Polyurethaned the plywood a dark brown to match the desk...nailed it in place and then the Master Organizer (my mom) came and helped put things in to place. Done!

I was able to pull all this off before G got home Thursday night!  The organization is amazing!  Everything has a place/cabinet of it's own.  I have a home for my camera and photography stuff, all my ribbons and other crafty items, my sewing machine and fabrics, and the printer even has a new home!  It's amazing...LOVE these cabinets.

I obviously still need to decorate the room above my fantastic new cabinets...G goes out of town again this month...maybe then :)
