Christmas in Late January

Every day feels like Christmas in Luehrs Land...but today really was!  Schedules all worked out and we were finally able to get together with Aunt Donna, Kristen, Dave and little man Cayden to celebrate Christmas.  It was a beautiful day and so glad we could spend some time outside and with good company!

 So many thanks to Amy Marcum O'Brien for getting married and brining us all back together again.  It's been WAY too long.  It was great to see everyone and I was SUPER excited Michele, Sara and Andrew were able to meet the Babies of Luehrs Land!

Oh girls, I wish you lived closer so you could see these babies grow! They would love you as much as I do!

4 Legs in Luehrs Land

Here's our pretty girl Sterling perched in her favorite spot on the stairs.  She's overseeing everything from here - she can see outside and keep an eye on the kids down below.  Ol' Ster has a Dr. appointment tomorrow to check out her rear leg - she's favoring it and trying her best not to put any pressure.  Hoping it's something minor - will keep you posted. She's too pretty to be limping!!

Taiten got these drums from his Aunt Colleen, Uncle Alan and his girlie-girl blonde cousins 2 Christmases ago.  We have a lot of fun "playing songs" or "sing songs" as Taiten says.  Check out his skills below.

Evening in the Luehrs Land

Evenings in the Land of Luehrs is usually a bit busy crazy...pick up from school, cook dinner, eat dinner...throw dinner everywhere, clean up from dinner, tub to wash off the dinner that didn't end up on the floor or in their mouths, play/sing songs (check back in a few days for that post!), brush teeth, read devotion and pray, yell out for mommy and daddy to STAY or come back etc. etc....sleep!

It's a whirlwind, but I wouldn't have it any other way.  Check out the pics below from tub and teeth brush.  I usually have to beg T to take a tub - and then once he's in, beg him to get out.  But both T+G LOVE LOVE LOVE to brush their teeth, no begging here (except from them to be able to do it)!

The Count

We found out a few weeks ago that Taiten could count to 15 (we overheard him when playing)!  For a few days it was his little secret and he wouldn't count out loud for us when we asked.  Finally he was ready to perform! Here's a few of his performances caught on tape.

Today was Greyson's 1st official day in her new classroom at school.  I think everything considered, I handled it VERY well (not a single tear from either of us!).
